James Page is an award winning British-American filmmaker. He was born in the UK and raised between the US and UK.

James graduated from the University of Westminster Film School in 2010 specialising in documentary. In his 13 years of industry experience James has trained as an editor and sound recordist while pursuing personal projects as a director. Documentary is at the core of his focus and he brings the same ethos to his factual and fiction work as well as those stories that sit in between both binaries.

James’ professional life has had him live and work back and forth between London, UK and New Orleans, USA. He has also worked extensively in East Asia and Australia. As a director and editor he specialises in telling stories for multiple audiences, be it domestic or international. As a skilled sound recordist, James uses his background in post production to record and deliver audio that fits the varying requirements of any post workflow need.

Coming from a documentary background, James is accustomed to working in challenging environments and with footage that needs a firm discipline in storytelling to achieve its full potential.
